Join our Adult Learning Center (ALC) class focused on Mandarin language conversation, specifically for Adults 18 years & older! The program is a blend of in-person and virtual learning. The curriculum also includes cultural activities and basic writing/reading.

2023-2024 School Year: Class starts October, 2023 and ends in June 2024
Three (3) sessions per week (2 online, 1 in person)
Online: Monday 6:30 – 7:30pm, Thursday: 6:30 – 7:30pm
In-person: Sunday @ Raritan Valley Community College 11:30am – 12:30pm
Tuition: $400/school year (20 weeks from October to June) Books and materials included
– New students promotion 5% off: $380
– Parents of RVCS students 10% off: $360
– Returning students 10% off: $360
(Returning students from the prior year who want to resume class in September are eligible to request free classes in September)
Levels: (1) Real New Learner: Little or no prior knowledge of learning Mandarin Chinese (2) Book 1: Learned Mandarin Chinese before (need to take placement test) (3) Book 2: Seasoned Mandarin Chinese learner (pass the advance-placement test)
Scholarships: (1) 85% attendance will be rewarded $50 (2) 90% assignment submission will be rewarded $25 (3) Advanced to next level will be rewarded $25 (4) Passing TOCFL will be rewarded $25
